NUEVAS PERSPECTIVAS PARA LA ENSEÑANZA DEL DERECHO ROMANO EN EL ESPACIO EUROPEO DE EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR (EEES)
RESUMEN La presencia del Derecho romano en los Planes de estudio de las Facultades de derecho españolas está siendo cuestionada. Con la reforma de 1990 y la implantación del sistema de créditos, nuestra disciplina ha perdido influencia en la formación de los juristas. Con este trabajo se pretende analizar, para cuando se implante definitivamente el nuevo sistema ECTS, por un lado, qué debemos enseñar, pues hay que reducir grandemente el contenido de los programas docentes, y, por otro, cómo, pues las modernas tecnologías comienzan a invadir las aulas y no podemos permanecer aferrados a nuestros tradicionales sistemas de docencia. ABSTRACT The presence of Roman Law in the study plans of Spanish faculties of law is under question. As a result of the 1990 reforms and the implementation of the European Credit-Transfer System (ECTS), our discipline has lost ground in the education of future jurists. Thus, this work sets out to examine two aspects prior to the definitive introduction of ECTS. Firstly, what should be taught, as it is necessary to greatly reduce the contents of the teaching programme, and, furthermore, the way in which it is to be taught, as new technology is starting to invade the lecture halls and professors of Roman Law cannot remain tied to traditional teaching systems.
