THE INDEX OF ANIMALS TO WHICH REFERS THE “EDICTUM DE FERIS” IN THE LITERARY SOURCES

RESUMEN         

          Entre los ilícitos protectores de un tránsito incólume por las calles figura el tipificado por el “edictum de feris”. El elenco de animales incluidos en la cláusula edictal no es restrictivo, sino que debe entenderse en un sentido meramente ejemplificativo. Las fuentes literarias nos describen con notoria precisión la fiereza de los mismos.

ABSTRACT                

          Between the illicit protectors of the unharmed traffic along the streets appears the typified by the “edictum de feris”. The index of animals included in the edictal clause is not restricted, but it must deal with a sense merely exemplary. The literary sources describe us with notorious precision the fierceness of the same ones.
